Correspondence should identify the research subject, institution, proposed activity and relevant timetable. If the enquiry concerns unpublished data or personal information, first agree the purpose and method of transfer.

To report an error in authorship, institutional information, a date, a source or the text, provide the page URL, the precise location and material that can be checked. Historical institutional names are retained as they appeared in the original publication.

Use the citation supplied on each work page. Enquiries about full-text republication, reuse of charts or permissions should identify the work, the material requested, the intended channel and the purpose. Permission for a third-party work is determined by the original rights holder.
